Problem with MB streaming to UPnP device: only 7 sec per song

I am trying to stream my MB music via WLAN to an UPnP device.
Therefore I had installed the dedicated plugin and changed the settings as described in FAQ and other sources.
MB identified the UPnP device and enables the streaming    BUT   only 5-7 seconds per title. Then it skips to the next title.

I can't find any reason for this strange behaviour

By the way: Streaming with Win Media Player works fine but I would prefer using MB.
