Musicbee does not read tags from some mp3 files when they use the ID3v2.4 (files tags have been edited in Mp3tag)

Just to cover the basics, have you selected these files and rescanned them?

Yes this didn't work, but this time what worked was to rescan the folders again, although this was able to fix the problem this time i faced this problem 3 more times this week and the only way to fix the problem was to convert the tags to id3v2.3. Then i convert them back to ID3v2.4 within Musicbee.

there is an issue with the file you sent and this should now work. You will need to rescan the files

unzip and replace the existing musicbee application files

Hi Steven i use the latest 3.4 version, i'm still facing the same problem with various files!



Tag inspector gives me this.

Download the latest MusicBee v3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

It's working for me. I'm not sure what you've used to download it, but it's just being overly cautious.
And to be fair, it's true - this file isn't commonly downloaded, because 24 hours ago it didn't exist.
