I know this has been asked a couple times here, but I haven't seen any real definitive/authoritative answer so I figured I'd ask :)

I want to use MusicBee in "Bit Perfect" mode and stream the unprocessed digital audio directly to my DAC.

My player options are:

Output: WASAPI (Exclusive)
Sound Device: My DAC

ALL checkboxes disabled in the player tab, equalizer and all DSPs uncheked.

Is this all I need for bitperfect? Do I need to use ASIO or some other asynchronous setting?

There were past reports that both fading and cross-fading force a resample by MusicBee.  I am not sure if this was changed in the latest version, but I keep these disabled anyway.

These settings appear to do it for me:

Perhaps stating the obvious but "normalizing" is not bit perfect by design.

ASIO is not needed.
WASAPI in exclusive mode delivers the audio stream as is leaves the player unaltered to the audio endpoint.
