Is there a setting in Music Bee that I am missing on setting up how it plays? :-\  I have over 1800 tracks on my computer and Music Bee plays about 2 dozen of them over and over.

How can I set it up so it actually does a random play from all of the tracks? I have tried Auto-Dj, same result. I have set the play parameters so that it selects different artists and only allows same artist every hour or so.

I need help. I'm getting tired of hearing Midnight Cowboy and about 2 dozen others only every time I start it playing.

Thanks!

Edit->Edit Preferences->Now Playing...shuffle settings/random (or whatever)
Go to your music tab
In the left panel go to the top entry (All Artists, All Albums, etc depending on which you have selected)
Right Click
Play Shuffled

1800 tracks is on average only about 120 hours of music. You will get repeats.

I should note that, if you do the procedure above, it will add all of your tracks to the Now Playing List shuffled. If you just play from that Now Playing list, continuing subsequent sessions from where you left off the previous time, it will play through all 1800 tracks shuffled without repeating. If you're set up to prune played tracks from Now Playing (Edit->Edit Preferences->Now Playing...playing tracks list...prune played tracks keep 0), you won't have to keep track of where you were.

If you do the procedure above each time, it will re-shuffle and restart the list, which will lead to duplicates.

If you want to listen to your library through on shuffle without hearing the same song twice, you'll want to do the former.
