I found this thread:

When tagging with replay gain, does MB use the  EBU R128/BS.1770 standard ?

Or is a plugin needed for tagging and displaying LUFS?

Yes, for analysing the perceived loudness of a recording/album, MusicBee uses the EBU R128/BS.1770 algorithm.

Only if you want to have LUFS values written to your tags.

Understood. I ran a small test with the plugin to tag and display some LUFS measurements. However, I'm slightly confused on the following - how would I go about displaying the information on the Track Information Panel on the right? Would this be possible?

I am not sure I understand the problem, since it looks like you have everything in place now.

E.g. you have created a custom tag 'Integrated LUFS'.
You should be able to select and use that tag for displaying in the Customize Track Information Panel?
Either by using the ... dropdown button, or by manually entering: <Integrated LUFS>

I scrolled down multiple times and missed it. I thought I was doing something wrong. As it always happens, after your comment,  I checked again and found the 'Integrated LUFS' !
