Anyway to make a grid of artist pictures?

I want to have artist photos in a grid format just like album covers (while still keeping album covers). I'm moving to MusicBee from foobar and I wanted to make it look as similar as possible (particularly to the Facets plugin). Below is a screenshot of what I'm going for.
I would also like to know if there is an easier way to use embedded pictures instead of ones from last.fm. I know how to, but would prefer not to copy and paste 300 pictures.

not exactly like that but the left thumbrowser can be configured to show artist thumbnails and of course the main panel show pictures of the album cover using the Album Covers view
