Adding custom mix cd's

Hi all,

I'm very new to the programme and I'm loving the simplicity and automation, the problem however is that MusicBee is moving files from folders that I created. 

For the most part my music is very organised, but there are some folders that contain random songs that I consider to be a album, so my question is, is there a way to stop MusicBee from moving the files or even better recognising them as an album i.e. not moving every file to a separate artist?

Go to Preferences -> Sorting/Grouping.  Here you can define the fields defining an album (eg. Album artist and album name). You have to tag accordingly. E.G. If you have a folder with various titles you want to be an album, tag all this titles with the same album name and album artist name. The  artist field can be taggedwith the different aritst names of the various titles.

if you dont want musicbee to move files at all then untick "auto-organise ..." in the preferences/ library dialog
