I have a playlist with around 900 tracks in that auto-sync to the phone.
In this playlist are numerous live tracks. Sometimes just one or two on an album, sometimes the whole album.

Editing the playlist allows me to scroll through and remove entries singularly, or ctrl-click selecting for many.
To remove live tracks, I would need to scroll through the list, ctrl-clicking to select, then to remove.
Now, some tracks have live in the title, some have live in the album name, but there appears no way to search and filter leaving live tracks showing, so I can bulk remove.

So, what should be a 30 second job, is a 2 hours job instead. Is this really the situation or am I missing something?

Cheers

Go to the playlist
Go to search box at the upper right
In the drop down...Local Node only
In the drop down...Custom Search

match any of the following rules
1. Title contains Live
2. Album contains live

Execute

or

Go to the playlist
Go to search box at the upper right
In the drop down...Local Node only
In the drop down...Search Specific fields
Set Fields = Title, Album
Search Live
Hit Enter

Hi, thanks for that, further questions arise though :)

As far as I can see, 'remove' is only available in the right pane.

The main window where now all the live tracks are listed, the only option that goes in that direction is 'delete' Which offers to delete from the library only or library & computer. No mention of removing from playlist.

Where to now? :)

Go to the playlist - first instruction. You're in your library.

Click the words "Android Playlist" in the left of your second screenshot.

Ok, This is what I am doing, and the results. Where am I going wrong?

Edit: If I change All to Any, I get about ten tracks listed, whereas there should be around 50+

Alright, Well, I thank you for your time and patience, but I'm going to try other software that's a little more intuitive for a simple operation.
