I've looked and searched and can't find a way to access the "Mark as having no lyrics" option outside the Lyrics tab in the Tag Editor (and possibly the "Copy Tag" ability in the "Additional Tagging Tools' plugin,) but not the ability to have this feature through a hotkey. If it's not difficult to incorporate, it would be great to globally tap a key combination to mark songs or pieces with no lyrics.

I would certainly use it on tracks that are candidate for my playlist for reading. (books)
Lyrics are very distracting for that activity.

+1. I'd still like to be able to add it to the vertical tag editor as a tick box, though.

For those open to plugin implementations:

I've added in a hotkey to mark the selected track(s) as having no lyrics.

For v3.7 hotkey support has been added to toggle the "has no lyrics" flag. Note it wont blank out the actual lyrics text in case you do it by accident
