Good evening, excellent software MB ! unfortunately it has a serious flaw,
in the scanning of many albums it often adds the non-existent string "lbum A" to the "album artist" field,
with software such as tagScan or tag & rename the field appears as it really is,

sin MB is otherwise one of the best I've seen and tried,
Greetings to all

Welcome to the forum and to MusicBee paolopuntop.

Just my personal opinion: I fully agree with you that MusicBee shouldn't (by default) improvise in displaying tags that are not actually there.
I feel it goes against some basic and essential qualities that MusicBee is great at in general.

If you do a forum search you will probably find some discussions or requests on the matter, but from the top of my head I cannot recall a valid argument why MusicBee does this. (or at least doesn't allow to disable it)

edit:
now seeing your second post, maybe I have been misreading your original complaint.
Are you talking about 'album artist' fields getting auto-populated for tracks that don't have an 'album artist' tag present, or do you experience actual tags getting written with incorrect information?
