Hey guys,

After every song plays, MusicBee updates the song for some reason and I have the little notification "1 file has been updated" on the bottom. Sometimes it does it with a whole album.
I don't have "continuously monitor library" ticked or anything I know of. It's just a curious little happening, and I don't know why or how to stop it.

The thing is, most of the time, when a next track starts, it starts for just about a second, then re-starts. That is the annoying thing.
Any ideas on this?

Thanks!

Any plugins active?
Something checked under Tags (2) > Auto-tagging?
After the notification, do you see anything under Edit > Undo?
After the notification, are the file dates modified?

No plugins active.
The song that just started though (and re-started), is now "date modified" to a minute ago today.
In Tags (2), Artwork and Lyrics have "auto-retrieve" and "save without prompt" ticked actually.
Do you think that might be it?

Most definitely that would be my guess. Especially if you have the artwork and lyrics set to be embedded in the file. Try turning those two options off and see what happens.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

Hey guys,
Thanks Phred, unticking those seems to have worked. Shame it has to be this way, but not that big an issue. Thanks for the help!
Thanks for replaying Vincent, the above seems to have worked though!
