So, I listen to a LOT of podcasts. I recently trimmed my subscription list to "just" 80.

What I would like to do is make a active playlist that just plays one (the most recent) of several podcasts. So if I have a list of say 20 podcasts, the smart playlist will only show the most recent (unplayed) episodes of those 20.

I've played around with the rules, but can't quite make it work. Anyone have an idea?

Hi, welcome to the forum!

I think you could do this with a playlist mixer. It will take a little extra set up, but if you make your mixer with a separate rule for each podcast you want to include, then you should be able to set each one to give you the most recent.

Hopefully someone else can think of a simpler way!

Have you tried what I suggested? What happened?

I'm sorry, I thought I made that clear.
I've played many times with the playlist settings, trying different things, but have not been successful so far. Was hoping that someone would point out the really obvious setting that I somehow missed the first thirty times. :/

Right now, the closest I have is:
Path has value.
Play Count is less than 1.
Album is any of [insert list]
Date Added is in the last 1 days.

It works...-ish. But would love if someone has a better setup.
