I can't find a way to unmount a virtual device. Is there simply no way to do this or is it me being unable to find it?

    right click on the device node/Set X: as Fixed Drive

      can someone please point me to the documentation on creating virtual devices to sync to?  Like a mapped drive?

        you can only do this for a drive letter
        right click on the appropriate drive node in the computer section/ Manage Folders/ Set X: as a Virtual Drive

        you can use the windows SUBST command to create a drive letter from a folder
