Other songs from other albums will add to playlist no problem, just seems like it's this new album.

You're using a very, very (VERY!) old version of MB. Its final release was in 2016. Upgrade to the latest 3.3 from the downloads page or the first forum topic.
There have been so many changes, bug fixes, and improvements that it's more than likely your issue has already been addressed.
