Playlists Removed from Android Phone after syncing

After syncing my Android phone to my computer with MusicBee my playlists have been deleted from my Android phone. How can I prevent this from happening again? Also, I backup my phone to my computer with Samsung Smart Switch, but I could not locate my playlists in the backup files. Should they be there and if so how can I find them?

untick "delete files not on the auto-sync list" in the device sync settings
