I already have the buffer set to 30 seconds, but there is lots of cracking only on music bee and not on windows media player.

How can I fix this?

    Again - search the forum before posting. This has been discussed before.
      Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
      Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

      I have, and none of those solved it. After an hour of listening I have to restart MusicBee to stop it from happening.

        Seems to be when I was transferring files to my phone via iTunes. When no transfers are going in and out of the music folder/library, everything seems fine.
