Fade in and out with play/pause.

Is there a way to fade in and out with play/pause. I googled and found a lot of people complaining that they want to turn this off, but they were all older posts, and no one answered them, so I am not even sure if this is still a feature or if it ever was.... but I would like to do the opposite and turn this on.


Editing to add that I am not talking about cross fade between tracks. I am only talking about play/pause.

Preferences > Player > sound effects > smooth fade when stopping will get you a fade out when stopping. Don't know of a way to fade in.

Ah okay, thanks. I have that enabled but honestly the smooth stop is barely even noticeable and is still sudden.

What is your target renderer? The sound card on your PC, or a DLNA renderer?
