Hi
i have searched around the forum without luck
i have spend yesterday in the musicbee preferences

for example customize the artist field and exclude composer

look in the screenshot under artist i have several composer under the artist

there is moby and down songs of the same album
if i click moby and album 18 , it misses the second track
because the second track is under Lana Michele Moorer/Moby/Richard M. Hall composer

i know in the search there is a customize fileds

but this happen when i browse my library without using the search feature

thanks

You'd want to format your Artist field properly (Moby; Jennifer Price) to have that track show up in a listing of tracks with Moby as artist.

Or leave Display Artist set to Moby Featuring Jennifer Price but separate them by ; under "Artists" (the [...] next to the field in the editor)

Or browse by Album Artist rather than Artist if you don't want to adjust your tags.

frankz is talking about processing multiple artists with the multiple artist splitter, which will allow musicbee to handle each artist separately in the column browser, while still displaying it however you want. you can find more info here: https://musicbee.wikia.com/wiki/Tagging#Multiple_Value_Tags

hi
but in the link i can't find the information i need
i guess i 't no possible
i would like to define the artist (for example only %artist% and no %albumartist% and %composer% )
so i will see only all the audio files with only the artist field
if i use the slip feature i will have 2 albums
thanks
