Could be a bug but I think it's more likely never implemented.
From the expanded panel of album covers view, you can't select different sub-groups using either shift or control key. For instance, selecting disc 1 & 3 or 2 & 3 by selecting sub-header with either shift or control key doesn't work and you can only select a single sub-group. This is possible in other views. Can you support this?
Also the selection of a sub-group has a visual glitch. Take a look at the area enclosed in red lines.
