I need to format my C: drive and reinstall Windows 10 for various reasons but I would like to save Musicbee from the impending bit-apocalypse. Now I can move MusicBee from C to D and it still works but the application data and settings are saved in user/appdata/roaming I believe. So how should I go about this? I don't want to go through the trouble of reinstalling and reconfiguring Musicbee after the format. Can I change the directory where application data is stored? Wat do.

I suggest you look at backup.& restore on the wiki. It might be easiest to do a portable install of MusicBee and just transfer the needed settings files over.

I also suggest you be sure to move your music files from within MusicBee, so they stay linked.
