Hi,

I just started Music Bee about a month ago and love it. However, the few songs and albums I have from the DRM-era of AAC on iTunes will not play. And when I try to convert them it fails due to BASS_ERROR_FILEFORM. Is there a fix or workaround for this?

Hi mikep.  There is no normal MusicBee fix/workaround for playing DRM files.  But according to the Apple support site, you may have this option available to you via their "iTunes Match":

"All songs now for sale in the iTunes Store are iTunes Plus. If you previously bought music with DRM from the iTunes Store, you might be able to download DRM-free versions of your songs with an iTunes Match subscription. The tracks must show as Matched or Purchased in the iCloud Status column in your iTunes library. The same album or song must also still be available in the iTunes Store."

There are also DRM removers you can try

https://www.sidify.com/

This one apart from removing DRM also converts and does a lot of other stuff.

AAC files with DRM could be iTunes music and Apple Music. Sorry to say that it's impossible to play those audio files in MusicBee directly.
But when you converted them with an Apple Music Converter, and then get MP3, or other common formats without protection, you can easily play them in MusicBee.
