More search options

I think it would be great if instead of search the library for all fields or one field only, I could mark more then one criteria from the drop down menu.
for example, if I mark V on artist and title, only results from those will be shown.

the custom search isn't the answer because I need to save a certain search. I'm looking for a permanent solution.

you can do that already. open the drop-down button to the right on the search box and click the fields you want to search on
or the keyboard way, type the field in the search box eg. artist:blur
