I was wondering is there was any way to remove the tag options that are already included by default for the mood and occation tags. There are several that I simply don't and won't ever use, and it would be less clutter if I could remove them via a settings change or something similar.

Thanks

I think they come from the MusicBee3Settings.ini file (<TagMoodFilter><TagOccasionFilter>), but thinking about it, that might just be the list for creating filters.

Even if this is where they come from, I don't know if messing with them will mess something up.  I don't think so, but backing it up before you screw with it might be a good idea.

You're probably best off waiting for a definitive answer.  I edited this post to highlight my uncertainty.

They are loaded from: Configuration.xml in the musicbee application folder

You can safely remove any you dont want but I do sometimes update the file and include it in patch versions. It would also be overwritten for new release installations

All right, thanks Steven! I had looked in all the .ini settings files, but not in Configuration.xml. Not too much of a problem to change it after updates, since it's pretty quick to do.

Hmmm, so I guess the patch would be merging the files then? Unless the custom values are contained elsewhere.
