I'd love to see a list/calendar of upcoming concerts (specifically for artists in your library) a la Songbird.

I know it won't give you the full power of the Songbird Add-on ( http://addons.songbirdnest.com/addon/1281 ), but until the feature is possibly implemented in MB you could follow my advice and bookmark the website http://www.songkick.com/ in the internal MB web browser. The website I recommend is the one used by the Songbird Add-on. The main disadvantage over Songbird is that you have to search for the artists manually.

If you find it useful, have a look at the topic   http://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=2475.0    where I've gathered many other additional websites and Internet services which could improve your experience with MB (especially if you want to update missing covers, tags and lyrics in your music collection).

this has Songkick concerts for anyone interested - its located @ Internet/ Services/ Upcoming Concerts
http://www.mediafire.com/?0qzpa51tbd6jsxd

its not quite as functional as the songbird one in that you dont get a choice re: filtering artists.
when viewing by date, it shows all artists playing
when viewing by artist, it only shows the artists in your library

nice work! i live near chicago so the default view was 41 pages worth of results (gulp), so switching to artist view is much more practical for me. very cool feature!

i've made a change so that you need to enable musicbee to automatically refresh the concerts each day on restart. It can be enabled from the "Settings" button in the concerts panel (currently called "Change")
(its refreshing the concerts on restart now, but the amount of data can be large for big cities and i didnt want it degrading performance if someone only looks at the concerts once and never uses it again)

Great! I've just tried this new piece of functionality and it's awesome, still it could be improved if MB warnsme when a new artist that I like is coming to my city but it's already a very useful tool.

Thanks Steven, you're the best!

i've added a 'Touring?' field which if you click the ticket image will open the artist page on songkick
its in the next update.
Also i've added quite a few more locations, so anyone who is interested but couldnt see their country/city should try again with the new version
