Is there a way of getting a Nas drive to work with Musicbee?

Define "work."

I suggest a search of the forum as many users (myself included) have their music on a NAS and have it working well with MB.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

Yes.

Map the NAS share containing your music as a network drive, and point MusicBee at that network drive.

When I say work I mean putting library on NAS drive and casting to Bose amplifier. Looked through forum (some 400 posts) and couldn't find mention of NAS drive.

If the Bose amp supports DLNA, then MusicBee can stream from a NAS file server to the Bose via DLNA, using the UPnP/DLNA plugin for MusicBee.
