Hi all

I've just found MB and am mightily impressed with absolutely everything about it - especially the customization and the normalizing it does on my entire library to enhance every tune I've got  :)

One problem I've not been able to find a solution for though, is when playing music to any of my bluetooth headsets, if I pause a track from the h'set, it won't resume again when I try, I have to return to my PC and press my [re-mapped] Spacebar key to resume playback. I reverted to the default Ctl+P for Pause/Playbut it still wouldn't work with that either.

Any ideas?

Thanks if you can help...oh and a Happy New Year to everyone  ;)  :)

There's some kind of  incompatibility with Windows bluetooth controllers.  I ran into it, too.  Do you have an android phone by any chance?  You could try using the MusicBee Remote app instead of your bluetooth controls.

I've got a Galaxy S8 so I'll try that tomorrow, thanks for the suggestion. It's a shame about the 'incompatibility' issue though. If I open a playlist or album etc in WMP for example, pause/play work fine...  :(

Mine resume over Bluetooth, but run really, really fast through the song.  Like, at double speed.  This is on WASAPI.

Happy NY all....  ;)

Well I've tried the MB Remote app & it works great. It saves me having to go back the (short distance) to my PC I guess - not ideal, but a work around - thanks for the tip.

When you say that you ran into the issue too...does that mean you never solved it? Is it a common thing with MB, or literally confined to the odd isolated case (and therefor probably something to do with the individuals hardware involved)?

Maybe relevant or maybe not, but I've also just found that the pause then resume doesn't work with VLC or MP Classic either - both these progs also have the re-mappable Hotkey option like MB, whereas Windows Media Player & Groove Music pause & resume just fine...but their controls are 'fixed' only!

I've seen a few other instances of this come up, but it's hard to say. It was a lot worse, though.  Instead of just not working, MB would freeze and have to be restarted or something like that.  Steven put a lot of work in just to make it not a complete mess when it happened.
