hi
why do i get this error when i tried to tag my songs?



accesso negato means access denied


but the song is located here


i have tried to tools -> tagging tools -> auto-tag  by track -> update using lasf.fm tag cloud

and i have tried to click on the song -> edit

this happen all audio format ,mp3 ,itunes mp4 and flac

the only way seems i need to uninstall my antivirus
windows 10 pro 64bit

maybe Steven could fix it ,for the new year

The windows temp folder is used when recreating files as a result of tagging. Your windows account probably doesnt have write access on that temp folder so you need to correct that

So was that your AV app that caused the issue? Why not try whitelisting MB from it?

but could be possibile to tag files direcltly without recreating files?
or at least is there a possibility to edit the preferences file ini and change the temp folder used by musicbee ,maybe i could try to change to temp files for musicbee to d:\temp

i have included all the folder of musicbee in my whitelist of my antivirus
about microsoft antivirus i can't find any option to esclude musicbee
i have read lots of tutorial to disable totally the windows defender

Open Windows Defender Security Center> Virus & Threat protection> Virus & Threat protection settings> Exclusions

hi
i did it too , i create an exclusion in the hips ,nothing
i have to uninstall the antivirus
but all the software can write tags directly can't understand why musicbee should move in a temp folder to tag it
