I noticed that the maximum volume when playing MB on my PC is a LOT lower than the volume I use with an external audio player like XMPLAYER or my videoplayer VLC.
Cannot find the cause of the difference but would like to use the same maximum volume for all.

How can I do that?
Thanks,
Wim

I'm only getting about 1/2 the volume thru MB as with Windows Media Player. I must have settings screwed up.  Help?

Thanks

Check Windows Volume Mixer (right-click the speaker icon by the systray clock and choose "Open Volume mixer") and be sure the slider for MusicBee is at 100%.

Also make sure you're not turning replay gain on. For most modern pop music, it lower the volume to normalize it.
