My Win 10 system's date format is dd/MM/yyyy ddd. How do I get this to be the case in MB?

Normally, however I type a date in other software's date fields it is automatically formatted as above.

I have a date field in MB and however I enter a date (- or /) is how it shows, also without the day at the end.

Cheers.

So, when you create a custom field you can set it to 'Date' type. Is this actually a Date format because I can type anything into it. It acts just like a String type.

Cheers.

Date display format in MB follows your Windows short date format. Try editing the format for one file with tag editor and you will see Send to> File rescan will restore your Windows format for the main panel display.
