Hey Guys,

im just about getting starting warmup with MusicBee.
I love to organice my music and create smart playlists for different
moods and occasions.

I would like to create custom ratingbars for "happiness", "energy" and "danceabilty".
I managed to create the custom tag-fields and set them already to "rating"
but i cant realy select the rating like the usual star-rating. when im try to edit the values
for "energy", i can only enter a digit like 4. then 4 star will be shown.
and i want to have different icons for my different rating bars
(Lightning for "energy", smiley for "happiness", an partyhat or a discoball for "danceability").
i cant create the icons/symbols by myself, but is my wish even possible?

thanks for your help

Heya & welcome to the MB forum community.

I requested the same, customizable clickable icons, before as well, and there's 1 suggestion of how could potentially achieve this - but it's not available out of the box unfortunately:

Thanks for your answer. So there is no way to realise the whole thing?
except to "hack" the program.

Not via click-able/customizable icons, no.

you could tie your values to hotkeys though... I have set it up so I fill a custom metadata field via ctrl+1 to 9 for setting 9 different specific values... not pretty but works.
