Easiest way to copy track ratings from mp3 to flac?

I've recently been reconverting some of CDs to FLAC replacing the old mp3 files. I've copied all of the tags using a program called TagScanner however when I add the music to my library all the songs are automatically five star for some reason.

Is there an easy way to copy the ratings of songs to a newer copy of the same song?

If you want to copy only ratings, then install Additional Tagging Tools plugin and use copy tag command.
If you can copy all tags including ratings, then assign a hotkey to such a command in Preferences> Hotkeys and use it.
