It would be very useful that the left main panel could automatically skip after pressing an alphabet Letter.
Example: Press  N and the left main panel also skip to N.  ::)

The thumbnail browser already does that. What version are you running?

Edit: Oh, you meant CLICK the letter. Nevermind.

I think you're misunderstanding the purpose of the jump list. The two panels are independent.

The left is the limiter - if you want to limit the results in the main panel only to one Artist or Album or Genre or All Albums or All Artists or Genres or whatever criteria you set. That limits what you're going to show in the main panel.

The jump list (letters) is to navigate within the main panel based on the limiter you set at the left and the sort you set in the main panel.

The jump list is not to navigate the left panel.

Thank you frankz for your clear and instructive explanation.
Could you answer me to the following please:
Example:
1- I am updating the group Whitesnake (selected in the left side panel)
2 -Now I need to update Barry White

So I have to scroll the left side panel all the way up to Barry White, and that's a lot if you have an extensive collection.
Can you help me with a smarter action to do this??

You could type artist name to jump to (but this requires thumbnail browser having focus).

Or have a look: https://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=9317.msg75006#msg75006

What view do you have your main panel in and what do you have selected in the left panel?

For editing your library when you're going artist to artist (assuming you're going artist to artist as you indicate), I'd recommend having "All Artists" or "All Album Artists" (or "All" whatever - the upper-most option) selected at the left. This gives you access to navigate the whole library in the main panel.

Then, if you're in artists, album artists or tracks view (sorted by either of those two) in the main panel, clicking the B at the top should jump you up to near Barry White from being down at Whitesnake.

Limiting the library by making a selection at the left is really to help in finding things or in sending tracks/albums to "Now Playing" based on an artist you want to hear at that moment, an album you want to play at that moment, or a genre you want to hear at that moment.  For example, when I want to see everything I have that Eric Clapton performed on, I click "Eric Clapton" in artist view at the left, and in the main panel I get Cream, solo, Derek and the Dominoes, Blind Faith, etc.  Then I can just right-click his name at the left and Play Now or Play Shuffled or send it all to a playlist or whatever.  Or I can look and say "Man, I never ripped my August CD."  For me, when I have a library question, that's what I use it for.

I've found for editing the library in total, when I'm going to be jumping around through the whole library and I already know what I'm looking for, selecting the "All" option at the left and then navigating in the main panel is much easier.

Thank you all for the good tips !
Redwing brought me up an idea:
What did I do:
1- Created a button in the toolbar
2- Custom search
  - match all/artist/is (...)
3- execute
4 - And in a fraction of a second I jumped to the desired artist

Frankz: left panel= Album Artist / Main Panel= Tracks sort by: Album Arist/Year/Album/Track and grouped by Album
