Is there an option / function to check if there are defect music files? So one could get to know if a music file is currupted before listening to it.

That doesn't exist within MB, but you could find a third-party app and link to it via Preferences > Tools > external applications. Then you could select the file(s) > right-click > sent to > (name of third-party app). And just make it part of your workflow.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

Arlight, I would do so, if I find such a program. Do you know one? I have found some older ones, could not find any actual program.
