Author Topic: Checkbox or notes on main screen?  (Read 1558 times)

Hello.

I'm going through my songs, and some of them need to be edited to delete extra sounds or change the fade-outs, etc. So, I'd like to be able to put a checkbox or "OK/Fix" dropdown in a column so that I can mark them as I listen to them.

So, if they have a checkmark, they are good, but if they don't, I either need to listen and evaluate them, or fix them.

And if I start this, and if I come back to it later, I'll not have to repeat what I've already checked.

Is there a way to add a note or checkmark for each song so I can accomplish this?

Thanks for your help as I use this more and more.

Regards,

You can make a custom tag for this. You'll have to type something, it can't actually be a check box, but once you've entered something it should offer an auto complete drop down the next time you go to edit it in the main panel

psychoadept,

I don't know how to do that.

Edit> Preferences > Tags (1) > custom tags... then what?

This might explain a few things:

(btw & just to make sure, IF you use tracks view in MB, you will also need to set the new custom tag field to display as a column as well...)
