Each album in my collection displays two entries for each track even though there is only one physical entry on my NAS.

I don't know how this has happened and can't figure a way to remove the duplicate track entry from the display.

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Are both tracks playable? What do they show if you right click on each track> search> locate in Windows Explorer?
Also, did you re-import your music files like after losing connection to your NAS?

check the file paths on each of the duplicate files eg. using the tag editor. It might be the case that you have imported the same file via a mapped drive and also via a UNC path for the file.

Hi

Both entries are playable and a search takes you to the same entry in Windows Explorer.

I think it may have been caused by a re-scan that I carried out.

In the end I deleted the library and have in the last hour competed a full initial scan and all is now well.

Thanks for the replies.
