I think it would be great to have your music library available in any device PC via streaming without downloading, eg: using cloud storage like Google Drive.

Steps of the plugin using could be this:
- Login with your account
- Select a group of folders (included folders shared with you)
- Read and download the metadata of the songs of the folders selected (it could take a while). I think it is necessary to have the metadata in local storage in order to avoid lag while you are browsing or doing some stuff in MB.
- Stream the song when you press Play (Maybe you need to set an amount of cache).
- Sync your metadata when there are changes like put a rating, change some tags, etc. (i think it could be really difficult to implement)

With this feature you could listen your music at work, home or friend's home, and you could share your library with your family or friends (maybe read only). An also you wouldn't have to download ALL your music (that could be more than 500gb), but only metadata (some megabytes).

In my opinion, 1TB storage in Google Drive is not too expensive (https://www.google.com/drive/pricing/)

Note: Google drive and android users, if you want to stream you music in your cell phone, you could use Beat (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.stefanpledl.beat&hl=es_419)

@Tidus I had this same idea and I'm busy developing a plug in to do just that.

PM me if you would like to try out the Beta version. I would love some feedback.
