How to make podcasts stop after 1 episode

When listening to podcasts I usually only want to listen to a single episode, especially if i'm going to sleep or playing games.  In order to do this, i have to manually clear the now playing list every time, is there a way to change it so that "Play Now/double-click" will clear the list and add only that podcast WITHOUT making that the default behavior for music as well?

And if there isn't, is there a better way to play a single file than play now, then right-click now playing->list->clear list?  Seems like there should be an easier, more intuitive way.

Right click on the player bar and hit 'Stop after Current'. You'll have to enable that every time you start playing an episode though.
