I've been experimenting with a horizontal navigation layout (tabs only, no sidebar), and I was thinking of how it could be improved upon.
1. Allow the playlists manager panel to be set as hidden and shown only when dragging and dropping tracks from the main panel.
This behavior works well with the left sidebar, but it seems a shame to limit it to only that panel.
2. Change the open device tab behavior (the icon that appears next to the panel layout button) so it doesn't show the left sidebar by default.
As this shortcut is mainly useful for layouts without the left sidebar, it would make sense to always keep the sidebar hidden.
