Hihi !

I've recently decided to update my collection and replace some of the 192Kbs musics by 320kbs. However, I have made specific custom tags, like musician, country...etc. which took me a lot of time (especially for progressive rock bands :@) and I really don't want to start over. My question is very simple, does it exist a way to "copy paste" the tags of my older musics to my new ones?

That would reeaaaally save me a lot of time!
Hope you can help me :)

Hi, welcome to the forum!

You can do a copy & paste, just look in Hotkeys and assign what keys you want.

You can also use the replace file feature.  Select either the file you want to replace or the one you're replacing with and go to right click, send to, folder (replace).  This will replace one file with another while preserving all the tags.

Note that both of these only work with tags configured in MB.  If you have other information attached to the file that is not a standard tag or configured as a custom tag, it will be lost.

Ty very much that is absolutely amazing! :D
Especially the copy paste feature as you can do it to multiple files. The right clic>folder (replace) option only appears for individual tracks
