Hi,

some of my Albums ID3Tags seem to have a BAD ID3Tag Status. The Titles and everything looks OK in iTunes. So I converted the Tags in iTunes to v2.3 and I can see in MP3Tag that now the Tags are clean and ok.

But MusicBee is not updating the information on the album even if I change an attribute like BPM for the whole album to trigger a rescan of the Tag.

When is MusicBee re-scanning files and how can I trigger this?

Kind Regards

You can rescan selected tracks with a right-click > Sent To > File Rescan.
Or you can rescan your entire library with Tools > Advanced > Rescan All Files.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

And when does Musicbee save the Tag back after editing? When I change something and then click on "Tag Inspect" It still shows the old value. I would want it to instantly save the changes to the file.

I can also check this with MP3Tag and don't see my changes instantly

MB should be saving updated tag info as soon as you click the 'save' button. Unless the track being edited is also being played. In which case MB won't save the info until playback is stopped.

If the text in the tag editor is a different color, it hasn't been saved yet and will not show up in the tag inspector.
