Comments re-appearing that were removed in iTunes

Hi,

I'm just switching over from iTunes and love Musicbee. But something is weird. I did take the time to remove all comments I had in iTunes a while ago.

Now opening my music files in Musicbee old comments that I definitly removed are reapearing. And whe I simply listen to a file and then go into iTunes the comments also start reapearing in iTunes.

Is there some Id3Tag v1 => v2 conversion going on I don't know about?

Should I uncheck "also save ID3vv1 Tag" in settings and the old comments will dissapear?

Check those tags with the Tag  Inspector - available via the Tag Edit window.

It seems to me it is combining TagV1 Tags with TagV2 Tags. It shows a combination of both tags

you would need to resave the files in MB or use a tool such as mp3Tag to fully remove the tags
