Two-way rating synchronization.

Heya all!

I have a small issue with synchronizing the ratings of my songs onto my portable device and visa versa. The ratings do not seem to get synchronized at all.

I'm synchronizing with an MTP (Android) device, I use Poweramp as my goto player on my phone.
I do have "on-the-fly conversion" and am converting from (usually) Flac to mp3, to save some space. Album-art and other tags seem synchronize without problems.

Am I missing something, somewhere? Or is it because of the "on-the-fly conversion"?

it will only work if the device player writes playcounts and ratings to the device MTP database.
As far as i am aware to date, none do that, so the feature is effectively not useful
