When using the 'Send To' file organizer to move tracks to my library, the preview is sorting the tracks by the numbers' ASCII values rather than true numeric value. Can we get it to sort the track numbers properly please? As in 1, 2, 3, 4 as opposed to 1, 10, 11, 2...

I've found another area where the numerical sort is coming from ASCII and is not truly numeric. This is from the Track Details view and is showing the album title. The order as currently displayed for this massive box set is:
Vol 1
Vol 10
Vol 11
Vol 2
Vol 3
and on and on.

Thanks

i think for that you are going to need to take another approach eg. perhaps you could make the album name the same and separate them using different disc numbers. And have a virtual tag to display the name if you want to see the full name as now

i could create new ASR preset for 'sort' tags, which will expand any number in any tag to format like '000x', if it will help.

I'd rather not resort to that as there are 14 volumes with 5 or 6 discs in each. I can live with this the way it is.

Thanks boroda74, but not really necessary. This is a one-time huge box set and I can live with the appearance as is.
