I suffered from this ban issue for a couple of days as well a few days ago. In my case, changing my IP and clearing cookies didn't solve the issue.
MusicBee 3.5.8516 / Windows 10 (64-bit) / Intel i5-3470 / 8GB RAM
Media on NAS (CIFS share)
20K+ tracks, predominantly FLAC ; converted to mp3 (lame -V 0) when synced to a Cowon D2+

The ban on the IP in question was removed a few days ago.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

I have to login every time I visit the forum, even though I have checked Always stay logged in.
Is it just me?
I'm using the desktop version of Firefox v73.0.1.

If you're using any sort of cookie management, and even if you aren't, make sure your MB cookies are set to 'always allow.'
And it apparently is only you since this is the first time seeing a post about this issue.
As a test try a different browser.

So it's something on my end. afaik tracking/ad blocking doesn't block anything on the site (kudos!). I'll experiment some more with your suggestion. Thank you, phred.

You're welcome. I'm not guaranteeing that it's on your side, but it seems likely. I for one, have mostly given up on Firefox since it no longer supports most of the extensions I feel are vital to my web browsing habits. I'm using a Firefox fork called Waterfox. It comes in two versions: Classic and Current. Both keep getting updated with security patches, but Classic runs all my extensions, while Current only runs a few. I also use a great cookie manager called Self-Destructing Cookies, which seems to only work with WF Classic.

Good luck.

I think I was logged-in all along but what the site/forum shows was misleading. For example, now I'm seeing the dashboard, an account icon and a messages icon top right. But if I open the main site link in another tab (https://www.getmusicbee.com/) I see the login and register links top right. From there, if I click the forum link I get to the main forum page and, again, I see the login and register top right. Now, if I click on the bug reports, sub-forum, I finally see that I'm logged in. This is a single session, one tab I'm logged in, the other opened and doing those actions after I'm seemingly logged in and while typing this message.

Hi there. I just would like to address an potential bug on this forum website here.
It's related on redirection after login.

Example:

Lets assume we are NOT logged in and stay here ...

We now login via the "Login" button on here ...

After an successful login we became redirected to here ..
... what doesnt work (please note the two parameter separators ? ... ?) ...

... because the url shoul look like this ...

Could this become fixed please, because its annoying us since ages now :)

Thank you in advance and greetings.

I'm not certain, but this may be a function of the forum software itself, over which we have little control. Steven or AvikB would have to confirm this.

Yes this is the default behaviour of the forum, I did thought of changing this. But it does requires changing core functionality which i decided not to due to update issues down the line.

I was trying to fix my typo here, but whenever I edit the post, the last line doesn't show up at all. Really weird.

I noticed this yesterday but hadn't had time to dig into it. Do you mean like this:
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

Yeah, I tried both the buttons that allow modifying posts (one's probably only available to mods).
