Hello, I would like to replace the progress bar by the shape of the audio signal and a cursor which indicates the position. As in mixing software.
Is it possible ?

Thanks

To see the wave bar, open the panel configuration window by clicking on the box-like icon to the left of the search window or by going to Preferences > Layout (1) and clicking "Arrange Panels." You'll see "wavebar" in the available elements section on the right. Click on it and drag it to the desired panel on the left side of the window. It can be dragged to any panel that has a vertical bar appearing next to it when "wavebar" is cliccked.

The wavebar colors are based on the skin being used.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

in case you are refering to a wavebar being displayed instead of a progress bar in the player controls panel, right click on the main player controls panel/ Panel Layout/ Wavebar

Thanks a lot!

Figured out that this does not work with all skins (e.g. Dark Metro Series)

Yes, I'm pretty sure that's correct. Bit-mapped skins (*.xmlc) won't display it, but standard skins (*.xml) will show the wavebar.
