Import Itunes Library and play count

Can I import my itunes library and the playcount? There are lots of files in my music folder that aren't in my itunes library because I haven't got around to cleaning it and I'd like to avoid this. Musicbee says I need a xml files which I don't have.

edit: I figured out how to do it.

You first need to export iTunes library to xml file using iTunes (File> Library> Export Library).
Then open MB and use File> Library> Import> Import from iTunes command.
