sorry to revive, but although this answered part of my question, here's the other: how do I get musicbee to open when I attempt to open several songs from a folder in windows?

Context: when I used any other media player, I could simply go to a specific album folder in windows explorer, hit Ctrl+A (to select all song files in the folder), then hit Enter, and my media player would launch with all the songs (in their proper order as they were listed in the folder) in the media player.

With musicbee, it doesn't do that. Am I missing something. VLC, WMP, amongst others respond fine. This is musicbee-specific  :(

Heeeeeeeeeeellllllllllllp mmmmmeh!

same here... how is there no response yet?

stranger still, some folders respond fine, others don't... same file type and everything. All other media players respond fine to Ctrl+A > Enter... except musicbee *le sigh*

Action when adding tracks using double-click
Choose what MusicBee does when you double click a track in the main panel.

if playback is stopped
when tracks are playing
I don't understand the point you are making
