Song titles not showing when ripping a CD (version 3.0 beta)

Ripping tool cannot retrieve metada from Internet (or is not showing it) when a music CD is inserted (version 3.0 beta). It works fine in version 2.5.

I just ripped a CD last night, so I know it is working.  Is it possible your av software or something is blocking MB's access to the internet?  Since 3.0 is a different .exe it may not be recognized?

Updated to last version 3.0.5954, tested several times with different CD's but still not working. Tested again version 2.5 and it works fine. No antivirus software installed and Windows (Windows 8.1) firewall disabled.

its been working fine for me and I know of at least a couple of forum members who have been using CD ripping fine.
I wont spend any time investigating this or be able to help.
