Off problem after updating

Just updated from 3.0.5909 to 5929 using the latest installer, but the the program hangs on startup, not even displaying the splash screen, looking at the task manager shows 3 instances of MusicBee3.exe one using 160K and the other two 164K, None of these processes can be killed from taskmasger or using pskill etc

Anyone else seen anything like this before?

I saw such a thing while I was using Avast. It's running programs in the sandbox to determine if it's malware, but the process didn't work properly in most cases. It was called DeepScreen at first, and then NG, and I don't know what they call it now. If that's the case for you, have a look at this: http://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=14180.0

Turning off the Deepscan seems to have resolved it, I've sucessfully started up the latesrt version several times now
