Shortcut for a folder on PC

Suppose I frequently play a set of songs on a folder on my PC, can I add that particular folder as a shortcut on the left navigation pane instead of browsing through the computer node each time?

Yes.  Use the "choose filtered folders" and "show filtered folders only" settings.
